Derby Day
On Saturday, we had my parents and grandma over for dinner and the Derby. It's kind of a family tradition now to celebrate Mother's Day on Derby Day instead. I was glad that my grandma felt up to coming this year. I made a beef tenderloin, scalloped tomatoes and a Cape Cod chopped salad. And at Grandma's request, we had carrot cake with cream cheese frosting (see the food blog for some shots of Jack licking the beaters).
