While we were there, Nana Joan, Papa Jack, Aunt Sally, Aunt Sharon, and Uncle Mark and Aunt Patty came to visit and to meet Ben. Ben was his charming self and smiled and cooed for everyone (see the photos of Ben charming his Nana Joan). Jack, unfortunately, had a relapse of his cold and had a bad fever and cough all day Saturday, so we dosed him with Tylenol and Benadryl and he slept most of the day (see the ridiculous bed-head in the picture below).
The drive home was just as simple, as far as the boys went -- Ben slept all the way to Ann Arbor and woke up to eat at Zingerman's where Brian, Jack and I ate lunch. The weather, however, was not as cooperative as our little travelers: there was a horrible snow storm that hit us about 10 minutes past Ann Arbor and made the last 60 miles of the trip extremely dicey. But we made it home safely and are enjoying a quiet evening at home.
