O Tannenbaum

Our annual visit to the Tannenbaum Tree Farm for our Christmas Tree.  We went with a Fraser Fir this year, instead of our usual Blue Spruce -- easier on little knees and toes, but less cat-repellant.  It's a trade-off.

It's a long walk out to where they keep the good
trees, even after getting to ride behind a tractor
to the back of the property.

Finally!  A tree we could all agree on!

Last year, I wasn't able to help with the tree because I was
nine months pregnant, carrying Ben around in my belly;
this year, I can't help because I'm carrying Ben around
ON my belly.

Jack carried snow every where we walked.

Sanctuary from the cold: a bonfire, spiced cider, donuts
and a reindeer.

Jack and Brian shared a Spartan donut.

Spartan donut all over Jack's face.
