We have a long running joke in our family that Ben is ALWAYS hungry. He never turns down a snack. (Although he recently turned down an opportunity to nurse when I got home from work because I also had a bag of Goldfish crackers sitting next to me, and he decided that he wanted the crackers more than he wanted mommy-milk. (Now if only I could convince him to do that at 3 a.m.!)
Yesterday, while Jack and I were out of the room, Ben helped himself to that same bag of Goldfish, plopped himself down in front of his play kitchen, and used a plastic play spoon to dig crackers out of the bag. I guess I should be grateful that he's attempting to use utensils.
