Birthday Party

Yesterday we celebrated Brian and Jack's birthdays with our immediate family. Jack was especially excited by his new sandbox, Elmo backpack, soccer ball (sock-A-BALL), golf clubs and basketball hoop. He opened every gift s-l-o-w-l-y and even insisted on putting his puzzles together after he opened them. It's nice to see him savor his presents and show appreciation, but he turned it into a marathon gift session. He also insisted on helping Brian open his gifts, delighting in the musical cards.
