Ben's baptism is coming up on Mother's Day, May 8. For those coming from Ohio, I have some scary news: that's the same weekend as MSU's graduation, which means hotels will be hard to find. In fact, all of the East Lansing hotels are booked solid. Here are three that we recommend in the Lansing area and that we know still have rooms available. (Just click on the hotel name to go to their website.)
1. The Radisson
This is the cheapest option and the closest to the church. Located in downtown Lansing by the Capitol building and the river, it's a great location and very nice accommodations.
2. Causeway Bay
This used to be Holiday Inn and is the closest to our house.
3. The Lexington
This used to be the Sheraton, where everyone stayed for our wedding. Nice, yet pricier accommodations.
Because hotel rooms will be in high demand that weekend, we highly recommend booking now. Both the Radisson and the Lexington are offering discounts for advance booking, so there's another incentive. We're looking forward to seeing everyone soon!
