Last night, America elected its first African American president and gave hope to millions that our nation will be a better place for everyone to live. In order to celebrate this momentous event, Jack is wearing his Obama onesie today and playing with his donkey (Eeyore). I am so proud and humbled and unbelievably happy that my son is alive in a country where people cared enough to vote and knew that their vote would make a difference in a way that they never have before. I cannot fathom all the doors that have been opened as a result of this election, and I am so proud to have been a part of it.
