Jack's Playdate

Today, Jack's friend Kaitlyn brought her parents over for lunch. We adults enjoyed talking while the babies played together. It's so nice to have friends who are experiencing the same things as we are: we share baby-proofing stories, compare toys and books, and get ideas for new foods to try.

It's fun to think that Jack and Kaitlyn might be sharing tips, too... he tells her how to stand up using the coffee table for balance and she tells him that acorn squash tastes better than he thinks, he suggests trying to get her parents to buy her his new gumball machine and she gives advice on how to be less binky-dependent.
