Lunch at Grandma Beno's

This morning Jack and I decided to take lunch to my grandma at the nursing home, and it just happened that my mom had taken the day off, so we arranged to meet her there at lunch time.

Meanwhile, we decided to make some of chocolate cupcakes (see the recipe blog for the recipe), since there was some buttermilk leftover in the fridge from Brian and Jack's birthday cakes. Jack helped measure the ingredients, turn on the mixer, and decorate the cupcakes with sprinkles. And, most importantly, he sampled the cupcake batter to make sure it tasted good. Lunch was fun -- peanut butter sandwiches, as Grandma loves -- and Jack entertained us all with his organ playing.
