Jack's Busy Weekend

This weekend, Jack had a full schedule. On Saturday, he rough-housed with his daddy for a while and watched MSU beat Iowa.

Then, he headed to Octoberfest in Lansing's Old Town, where he flirted with numerous other babies and children, and charmed people everywhere. His parents happily consumed German food and cider (Brian had hard cider, I stuck with the non-alcoholic variety). Once the tent started filling up with more adults, we decided it was time to head home.

On Sunday, Jack went to church, where he saw one of his baby friends from the baptism class. Then we went to lunch at Noodles and Company, one of our favorite after-church hangouts in the pre-Jackson days. Then, after a bottle, we went to Kohls and Macys so that I could shop for a new coat and Brian could get a new sweater. We were very successful in our trip, but Jack wouldn't know because he slept the whole time.

Once we got home, Jack had some lunch and watched the poor Lions lose again. He didn't feel too bad about it though because he got to hold the remote.

Finally, he rounded out his day with a walk with his mom while his dad mowed the lawn, and a little reading on the blanket his Aunt Kelly made him.
