Home for Christmas

On Sunday, we were discharged from the hospital (early, for good behavior) and able to bring Ben home in the afternoon. We were excited to finally celebrate our Christmas with Jack, who hadn't realized that Christmas had come and gone while we were at the hospital. Luckily, his Santa gifts were waiting under the tree and in his stocking when he arrived home from my parents. So, we had a quiet celebration, and the highlights for Jack appear to have been his new purple ukelele, his cookie baking set, and singing "Happy Birthday" to Jesus with the Jesus cake (which we were lucky wasn't stale after waiting three days to be eaten).
