Tree Lighting

Tonight we went to the Holt Tree Lighting ceremony at the fire department. We ate dinner at Buddies' restaurant and then walked next door to the parking lot outside of the fire department and library. At first, Jack just looked cold and confused while the choir and band played carols, but then when Santa arrived in a fire truck, he got excited. Santa handed out candy canes (Jack said thank you as he took his) and then headed back to the north pole. We took that as our cue to head back to our car, since my jacket won't zip up over my belly and Jack's nose looked pretty red.

And now, in order to be multicultural and in honor of the night before Chanukah, Jack and Brian are playing with a dreidel.
