Telling Aunt Kelly and Aunt Julie

One of the major dilemmas of pregnancy is when to tell people. Of course, the moment you learn you're pregnant, you want to shout it from the rooftop. But hopefully, some shred of sanity prevails and you wait. Slowly, once you've confirmed it with a medical professional, you start telling those in your closest circle. Our parents have known since our first positive blood test, but we've been holding off from telling anyone else until a little more time passed, just to be sure that everything was progressing well.

So tonight, is our next big step: telling the baby's aunts and uncle-to-be. Keeping it a secret this long has been agony, not only for us, but for Brian's mom, who has been frantically trying to talk in code to Brian while Julie listens in the same room. We all know Julie has a sixth sense about secrets, so we figure that we'd probably better just come right out and tell her before she figures it out on her own! And Kelly is going to need to know to be prepared for a very voluptous bridesmaid to be walking down the aisle in her wedding.

So, Kelly and Julie and Ryan, congratulations: you have a little niece or nephew on the way!
