We're proud to report that potty training, after months and months of being a no-go, has finally taken off. Jack wore underwear to daycare on Friday and came home wearing the same shorts and underwear that we sent him in -- a first. And he wore underwear all day at my parents' house on Saturday, even during his nap. Knowing he was doing so well, we let him wear underwear to church this morning. (We did that last week, too, but that involved a stop at the rest area on the way to church and three potty trips during Mass, as he tested his urges. No accidents, but a very disruptive process.) This time, he went once during Mass and once at the restaurant for lunch and stayed dry until we got home. Success!
We're very proud of our big boy, and we're looking forward to packing up all the leftover diapers and pull-ups for Ben to use in a year or two. And we're especially looking forward to only purchasing one set of diapers instead of two.
